Arconvert’s new full-service converting and sales facility will be located outside of Los Angeles in Cerritos, CA, USA.

Fedrigoni, a leading international group for manufacturing and converting of premium specialty papers and substrates, has announced the expansion of Arconvert with a new facility in the United States. Arconvert, part of Fedrigoni Group, is a manufacturing company that produces an extensive range of self-adhesive papers and films for flexographic and HP Indigo printing technologies.

“We are extremely pleased to introduce Arconvert and the Manter brand in the United States,” says Claudio Alfonsi, CEO of Fedrigoni Group. “This expansion is a natural next step for Fedrigoni Group, and it allows us to further support the demand for high-quality label products in the North American market. We look forward to the opportunities this will create for the luxury packaging and labeling sectors.”

With this expansion, Arconvert’s new full-service converting and sales facility, located outside of Los Angeles in Cerritos, CA, will focus on label products for packaging in a variety of markets, including gourmet foods, wine and craft beverages, pharmaceutical, electronics and automotive. The new 62,000 square foot plant and distribution center includes state of the art converting equipment, allowing Arconvert to serve the North American market with premium self-adhesive labelstock quickly and efficiently.

“With Arconvert’s established reputation for premium wine and spirit labels in the European market, this expansion puts us in an exciting position to introduce North America to the tremendous possibilities available with our products,” explains Pere Espelt, commercial director at Arconvert.

“With Arconvert’s launch of the Manter brand in North America, HP Indigo customers and end users will greatly benefit from the vast array of impressive new products to select from,” says Alon Bar-Shany, vice president and general manager of HP’s Indigo Press Division. “This announcement supports the strong growth and opportunities within the labels and packaging market, especially as we prepare to launch the new 8000 label platform at drupa 2016. As leaders in the digital printing world, HP and Fedrigoni Group have had a strong partnership, and Arconvert’s expansion into this new market will only help continue the growth of our relationship.”

“As the only other North American member of Fedrigoni Group, we are pleased to welcome our Arconvert colleagues to the US,” adds Bob Niesen, president and CEO of GPA. “We look forward to collaborating with them to ensure a smooth integration into our shared facility and support their success.”

Arconvert and its products will be on display at Dscoop in San Antonio, TX, from April 13-16, and at Labelexpo 2016 in Chicago, IL, from September 13-15, 2016.
